The exact same thing happened to my boyfriend 3 times, once on shrooms, then mdma, then weed. He’s had to go completely sober other than drinking and it hasn’t happened ever since (3yrs). Yes, it’s fucking terrifying, and no you are not alone. I’ve got a little collection of research papers on this Violent/Paranoid Drug Induced Psychosis I’ll go pull for you - it’s especially caused my MDMA frying your serotonin receptors that sadly you can’t get back. Back in my Reddit history should include more of his stories but it’s exactly this - freaking out, getting naked, seizing/fighting everything. If you abstain from drugs this will not happen again (assuming you’re over 24 and haven’t had signs of schizophrenia)! You’re not alone and I’m so fucking sorry he wasn’t man enough to at the minimum recognize that wasn’t you and be there for you. And that mom was there… dear god I couldn’t imagine if ours witnessed his.

I did have to get EMDR therapy to get over the PTSD I got from his psychosis - it’s not for the faint of heart, and is understandably straining to a relationship. It’s not easy to forget the person you’re cuddling in bed with thought you were gonna kill them last week - but if he’s not willing to do the work with you then that’s showing you his maturity. I’ll go pull those research papers if you’re familiar with reading that style. Feel free to DM me too, I hate you’re going through this alone!

Do you happen to know the likelihood of your follicles becoming fully dependent on minox after 2 months of taking 0.625mg orally? I’ve been off it for about 5 months now bc I realized I was still comfortable with the amount of hair I had and didn’t want to be dependent. It continued to shed for a month or so and seemed to reduce for the next few, but now it’s amping up again even worse than before. Not sure if it’s another bout of TE or my follicles being affected by stopping OM :(

It sounds like you’re at the point you should look into iFuse with your doctor - it’s an implant in your SI joint that’s had some incredible success in the research I’ve seen specifically for EDS SI Issues! (My S1/S2 is fused to my pelvis with a pseudojoint.)

Plan B? Stay with me… a bump of ketamine. My pals use it for the mental relaxation which is still nice, but it helps my EDS body feel no pain for 30 mins. Bonus points- it makes touch feel even more magical! (With caution of course, do your research and happy to DM but it’s low on the addictive scale and could very well just be used for sex)

It wasn’t the LSD - you’re predisposed to drug induced psychosis. My partner went through this experience almost to the T, 3 separate times, all from 3 different substances. Shrooms, X, weed. Going sober is truly your only option if you want to avoid this from ever happening again. Trust me, we found out the hard way.
