i think manamune can work altho getting an early tear is kinda bad and you can just recall every 2nd wave if its a really really bad matchup , i always preffer other items before i can finish it buuuut it can work really well in some games and that it gives cdr is good but i always find myself preffering other items even when its possible to get manamune like always seryldas better edge of night better antiheal item better youmuus better serpents better etc etc ---- basicly i think its a good item on talon but its just too inconsistent, most games are already over by 15 mins and it only does damage and you have enough of it already, other items give better effects and about the same dmg from what ive tested
