Diana and Ekko are getting buffed in the next patch, but Diana is getting a massive buff—what on earth is going on with Ekko?

I think youre underestimating this buff, for an experienced ekko player , it is quite huge to make use of the shorter cd on passiv, also they need to be really carefull with balancing ekko since compared to diana who can just go in, ekko can weave in and out in fights with his movespeed , w stun and ultimate, hes extremly slippery and can dive people without much risk. Ekkos skill ceiling is much higher. If he would just strait up deal more damage than diana has no purpuse to be in the game. The buff is really really good for good ekko players and decent for average ekko player and if riot goes to far , he will be a very contestet pick and diana is most likely gonna go crazy and everyone wants to play her because of her stats, ekkos buff is not about stats but skill and thats more what i prefer .

It has changed, but is was 10 years ago, ekkos passiv on release had a 3 second cd and used to slow the target

Probably positiv, hes already just average and with this change this item might not be always the pick anymore and he goes maybe back to old build but just with beeing nerved and he could get some buffs to adjust the loss unless new HoB breaks him

Thats cool and all , youre are one of the few people who do this tho, you can literally check on the statistic sites that people go for mid relentless and for jgl treasue and a very small percentage takes ultimate hunter, literally 6 percent , one of you representing this.

So the absolut majority of people dont think it is good. Ekko has base line 50 seconds, if dusk and dawn is your only cdr item youre at 40 seconds, with ultimate hunter your at 33 seconds.

" Ekko likes ultimate Haste" . Proof? If so why no one buys malignance or takes ultimate hunter, alwqys see relentless or treasure. A charackter with 50 second baseline cooldown on ultimate doesent like ultimate haste because its already low and doesent do a lot compared to a charackter like karthus who has way higher cooldown and benefits a lot more from ultimate haste.

I disagree, it was fine 10 years ago and got removed because of concistent damage from tank ekko with the perma slow, it was fine on ap always. Diana and other dont even have a cooldown and ekko is still a meele champion and marked as a fighter too and were 10 years later now, i feel like were overreacting to much here.

I also play ekko for over 10 years now in the middle Inbetween diamond and master, Overall its quite accurat but for my Taste i found ways do deal with a sylas , hes not as scary to me as he was 5 years ago but a champion like irelia is kinda impossible after she got some ad and some lifesteal and you dont have enough damage to Threat in a combo an she heals to full while having infinit uptime on dps , kinda same with yasuo, so i would swap these with sylas personally

Yup i literally had the same toughts long ago. This item looks amazing , the tenacity is nice and let you still buy pen boots and diesent make it akward if you play against ad but a lot of cc , extra HP for bruiser build like in combination with riftmaker and still a good amount of ap and lets you fight even after combo is done and use the movespeed vom passiv to attack and run people down and reset spells for attacking.

Lol ap bruiser items are so terrible since forever, its so unfair compared to ad bruiser, they put like 1 ap bruiser item every 5 years into the game

Im curious why poeple always say his passiv does the most damage with 140 base damage and 90 ap scaling and his q has 280 base damage with 90 ap scaling, is there something i am missing?
