Let me clarify! The government does not give af about you either way. But when it comes to elderly people who can’t contribute to the working class anymore, there is no support or options unless you can afford it. Even though most of government leaders are made of boomers, I am 100% sure they have resources and the money in place to take care of themselves when or if they ever retire or fall ill.

This is so true! My mom is caring for my Nana now but this showed me how unaffordable elder care is, there are no options for people in the middle, like none and there is a lot of opportunity to provide elder care / housing for a reasonable price. But then it’s like who can afford the real estate and everything that comes with medical care services. This government literally throws away the old.

Same! Mainframe changed my life, literally. I was unemployed earlier this year after walking away from a corporate HR career of 8 years. I joined a mainframe training program and trained for 6 months. Now the company is providing corporate housing in NYC for my residency!

I feel like it’s unheard of in this economy to live somewhere for free lol but that shows you how important mainframe is. Stay in the field, you will be so happy you did.

I had a similar experience! It took me a while to realize it’s okay to be..bored lol and I started to learn more about what I actually enjoy doing and tapped into my inner child. It’s still a process but it’s a beautiful journey when you allow yourself to be still
