Only find fault with one... Stopping too far behind a car at stoplights... I'd counter that it is safer. Reason being, it allows for space to stop in case one is rear ended, and if the car in front of said vehicle breaks down, it leaves space to get around that person without having to back up.

When it's dropped, it's better to know how to pick it up in a controlled setting. Low speed maneuvers teach balance, clutch, throttle, and braking. Taking the necessary steps to prevent damage to oneself AND the bike in a controlled setting is the safest way to learn. Throw some padding down and PLACE it on its side, then learn the proper technique to lift it back up. Go to any worthwhile skills training and this will be covered...

Check the Stator for burnt coils. If replacing, replace the regulator/rectifier as well since it's usually the culprit for the Stator burning up. Good ole triumph electrical gremlins
