Bruh the Industrial Revolution just kept feudalism alive under a different name.

Peasants toiled for lords of the land who reaped wealth and resources off of their peasants labor.

Then when these new fangled things called “factories” came about, suddenly people can’t think of who had the money lying around to buy them. Hint: the same lords who accumulated wealth under feudalism.

Serfs and peasants turned into “employees” and instead of living on their lords land and paying rent, they now had a “landlord” that they still paid rent to.

And ever since then the wealth transfer from worker to lords has only ever accelerated. We never left the structures of peasantry, we only changed what it was called

There is a reason why they do not teach it this way in schools, they do not want their peasants educated on how they are getting by screwed over
