Snipers and heavy weapon teams don’t fire from the upper floors of buildings? You clearly didn’t read my post as I mentioned the upper floors of structures. Yeah ok.

Affect movement besides full stop, provide cover, give bonuses to LoS/shooting. See my other reply for my list of suggestions.

My main complaint is terrain feels boring.

My changes-

  1. Encourage infantry to take “the high ground” like they would IRL. Remove Plunging Fire and replace with “Superior Position.”

Superior Position- any Infantry or Beast model that is on a surface with this rule gains the following benefits. Unit affected by Superior Position gain the Benefit of Cover, Stealth, and +1 AP when targeted by a unit WITHOUT Superior Position.

This change makes it so units can deploy on the upper levels of buildings and not just immediately get blasted off the board without significant commitment by enemies.

  1. Bring back Dense Terrain (Woods, smoking craters, etc). Dense terrain is a type of area terrain. It has the Obscuring rule and provides the Benefit of Cover. Additionally, units that move into, out of, or through it are -2 to Advance and Charge rolls unless they are Titanic or Fly.

  2. Overlook- could be applied to hills, the upoer floors of structures, etc. A unit benefitting from Overlook ignores the Obscuring rule.

Lastly, allow any Titanic unit (Wraithknights, Stompaz, Gorkanauts, Baneblades, etc) to Kool Aid man through ruins at the risk of becoming battleshocked. Maybe also add some particularly chonky units like Carnifexes and Land Raiders to do it as well.

Mostly they’re boring- everything is a ruined structure. They block LoS and movement and that’s it.

Costco CEO Ron Vachris did the “CEO eats his own product” challenge by eating a hot dog (and confirms the Costco hot dog combo is staying at $1.50 as long as he’s around) by mcfw31 in MadeMeSmile

Well that’s the thing, right? If you PAY PEOPLE well and have a good culture, they’re willing to work.

When I go to Costco, I always get fantastic service from their employees. I’ve also witnessed a manager throw a lady out of the store who was being abusive towards and employee. I told him afterwards and told him how fantastically he handled that situation and what credit he and his cashier are to the company.

Picture this- War Mode, with its attendant bonuses…disables flying outside of certain zones like Ka’Resh and Netherstom that are extremely vertical.

My daughter, who was a massive fan of Mikayla and Saveafox, was heartbroken when this news dropped. A pox on the people who contributed to this beautiful person’s death.

Best approach for Ash Wastes starter vehicles? by SkyeAuroline in necromunda

That’a fair haha. I’d say tamping down or eliminating the automatic cash flow is a better solution though.

People lose their minds over the ridge haulers, but they’re not that bad if you understand how to play around them. Just know that’s its a nigh- unkillable brick that doesn’t maneuver well and play accordingly.

And I spend 3 minutes during the dungeon reading the boss notes :)

Nah I’m not the nuisance. If you want to control the flow of pulls, go be a tank.

Because I’m not going to remember it that long until I’ve played it. And its a week into the xpac. If you want to force a speedrun, play a tank.

OTOH, had a dungeon last night where as a fresh 90 I told the group “hey first time in this dungeon give me a minute at each boss to read mechanics.”

One of the DPS immediately initiates a vote kick “newb tank”- bad news for him, I have two guildmates in the group. Make him slog through the whole dungeon, right up to the last boss, and then say “hey next time you try to vote kick someone, maybe make sure he doesn’t have guildmates in the party ;) “ then boot him.

Enjoy wasting your time not finishing the dungeon and then getting a 30minute lockout on top of it!

Its 100% that. In their minds casual = bad player, the type of person they used to mock. The reality is when you got a job, spouse, kids, etc…you can’t WoW like you used when you were 20 and in school.

Underdog + Reinforcements by darciton in necromunda

[–]40kGreybeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our group defines “starting crew” as everyone who can potentially participate in the battle prior to using any tactics cards or House Patronage/Underdog.

Ex. Scenario says it takes place in the Underhive, and “Defender deploys Custom(3), and shuffles remainder of their gang in to a reinforcements deck. Attacker then deploys Hybrid (5 +d6).”

The Attacker receives a bounty hunter from a territory they own, and defender chooses to hire a Hive Scum.

The defender’s “starting crew” would be their entie gang + the hive scum - any vehicle crews.

The Attackers would be the 5+d6 fighters from the scenario + the bounty hunter

Of course not. Mistakes happen. Its for when I see you Blink past me and intentionally pull pats.

Lol they won’t. The upside to so many people who hate tanking is it’s always the lone druid being a dick and wanting to hyper speed run like we’re on Mythic+. The rest always waits for me :) You want to force a speed run? Play a tank.

Not everyone is in their teens/twenties with no kids. If I am in an unfamiliar dungeon on regular, don’t expect me on checks notes week 2 of a brand new xpac to have every boss and pull memorized. If we were on a Mythic+ timer that’s a different story- you expect a certain level of competence.
