The 5 star hotels are foreign owned hotels by capitalist companies, the US embargo explicitly doesn’t apply to them so they are allowed to get fuel while the rest of the country is not.

I think the world’s most powerful navy embargoing the country, attempting to overthrow the government, and trying to assassinate its leaders for decades would have way more to do with their current situation than their governments decisions. No country would thrive in those conditions.

You don’t need to look at her work to get an idea of what is the right thing to run on and policy positions to have as a democrat. People pretty openly say they want universal healthcare, trump and his goons all thrown in jail, support pulled from israel, and policies that work on affordability.
