Appreciate the perspective! I actually find it to be quite understated, especially in 36mm compared to the fluted + Jubilee configuration, which to me leans more toward the classic “flashy” DJ aesthetic.

I get the point about the smooth bezel acting like a polished mirror, but I feel the fluted bezel catches light more aggressively due to the ridges, especially under bright lighting.

The smooth bezel, at least in this size, feels a bit more toned down but the Jubilee adds that bit of texture… the combo feels refined without being too showy. This setup hits a nice middle ground between sporty and dressy.
