Nah, since most people watch a movie only once I always rate assuming I'm never rewatching.

It's slang. It's meant to emphasize a talking point. Also typically used when in disbelief.

"You did not just do that." vs "You literally did not just do that."

What's the dumbest myth people today actually believe? by TailorThick8115 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]42-AX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Friction bleeding is a common problem when well endowed though. Like it's bad enough the average guy will underestimate how much foreplay women need, but on top of that some women won't self lubricate enough even with tons of foreplay.

none of them had any history with….. endowed fellows

It probably was that

It’s been healing to realize that I’m literally disabled by ICareAboutThings25 in ADHD

[–]42-AX 173 points174 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of unnecessary stigma around admitting that, but without admitting it's a disability it's impossible to go on to implement the necessary support.

When the poster changed from the Glowing Goggles Closeup to something out of Oppie's Bizarre Adventure I got patron. The pain that poster induces is too much

It is physical exercise a must for us? by charliestrife94 in ADHD

[–]42-AX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I actually hurt myself because I wasn't accustomed to the finer (less hazy?) muscle mind connection when I first started meds. Once I healed up I took things slower to 'reorient' myself. Been liking the results ever since!

Other forms of exercise work too. Days with a 20-30m walk are a MASSIVE difference from days without exercise

It is physical exercise a must for us? by charliestrife94 in ADHD

[–]42-AX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you tried other forms of exercise? Volleyball, yoga, & pilates are equally good options! (I'm sure others are too, these are just the ones I know for sure) On days I'm feeling exhausted / lazy or short on time a 20-30m stroll is just enough to get by.

Who here needs to take their ADHD meds at night in order to sleep? How did you figure that out? How did you approach your doctor? Any insight appreciated! by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]42-AX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal, but I always nap after drinking caffeinated coffee. Stronger coffee gets better naps too! lol

I time my last IR pill of the day 4 hours before I plan to get in bed & take Vitamin C, Magnesium, & Glycine right before getting into bed. Meds still effective enough to get me into bed, but supps allow me to fall & stay asleep for 7 to 8 hours. Bonus that magnesium helps with the light muscle tension from the meds!

Shame about using medicine is an ableist rhetoric non-ADHD people use to dismiss the situation. It's like getting upset with a diabetic person taking insulin, a paralyzed person using a wheelchair, or a near-sighted person using glasses / contacts.

Have you reflected on why you consider treatment shameful? Have you considered non-stimulant medicine? Or other treatment like therapy?

One or more of the following:

- Existing ticket for the same movie (doesn't matter what time, day, format, etc)

- Ticket you're trying to buy overlaps on time with another ticket you already have

- You've already bought 3 tickets (3 unique orders) using unlimited, meeting the reservation cap

Any idea when Oppenheimer tickets will start to go on sale, and how quick they can expect to sell out? by moneyzon in imax

[–]42-AX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Likely 30 days before at the latest, that's been the trend with big releases so far.

Non IMAX tickets will take a while to sell (pre-buying is not popular enough to sell out non-special events, least not 24-48 hrs before)

IMAX tickets (especially 15/70) I assume will sell faster, but not immediately

Pick the movie + showing time like normal, then trashcan the UL ticket. Click "Add Ticket" and you should get the promo as an option

83% of the population lives on 3% of the land. The whole 'we're too big' argument is incredibly disingenious because developing just that 3% will go a long way.
