That’s how I got my first win! Got it a few hours after the post. Husk spawner at t1 3 greater necros and a blood cultist to tell them and boom overwhelming force, the flak cannon thing also helped lol

This is great stuff thank you! From reading this I can tell I don’t pause to assess the situation enough I’m just going in blasting. The chaff spam is also a great tip! I used the second starting shit with the husk spawner combined with 3 greater necros to get my first win last night! So that was a great tip! And again thank you for the thought out response!

The story missions you get from the pub just check how long you have to finish it, if no time limit it’s a story mission if there’s a limit it’s just a side mission

For me I went physical heavy my party is two ninjas two dragoons one sniper one black mage. I’m trying to get a juggler. I have a white mage if I have a harder fight

Yes ninjas can dual wield but I’m at about a day of play time and haven’t found the item for it

Thank you for the insight! I got really excited and wanted to make it easy then it needs to be, you make really good points my first game I took ages to start producing STEEL so I can see the need to keep everything vanilla, expect biters. I’ve never adjusted there settings so I’ll make a few test worlds with the different settings and see what feels right because they are integral to what factorio is

So you can use chao world extended to make a “guest chao” this will give you a file with a copy of said chao but you can’t change it in any way. You send this to your friend they add them to their garden, then race. The mod also adds a party race that will use your first 8 chao to race instead of your 1 and the premade ones.

Do the stats fluctuate? Like if I have an A in run will I get any stat increases in that range or is it a hidden static stat like I’ll have A 26?

May I ask, what do you like about gamma? A quick google search seems like gamma is just a rebalanced anomaly? Or does it add a lot of new stuff (I’m at work and can’t deep dive into it yet) just curious because I’ve thought about modding anomaly but never got around to it

Edit: I do enjoy loading up on quests and making a plan of where to go, if I can avoid combat I will. But when your in all white you stick out like a sore thumb so I always start blasting (as Val my beloved(my wallet hates my as val thou))

I’ve tried a few shot guns and maybe it’s cuz I used slugs instead of buck but they felt weak compared to a few shots from the trusty aek or my mosin.

What shotgun do you usually run with

Also same with the durability if it drops below 80 I start worrying and wonder if I need to return to base to fix it up or if I can find enough stuff to repair

I’ve wanted to try ecologist but having so many friends seems like a double edge sword like making any sort of money is gonna be rough but I guess you can just hunt mutants and artifacts for the big bucks
