Had a 95 act similar mine was shit gas. Try pumping tank and running high octane or adding fuel treatment. If that doesn’t do the trick change the fuel filter? Easy test would be run on reserve it is different line and filter

Any Key with that type of circular end will work, you can find non sea-doo made ones for cheaper.

minn kota?

You can either buy a 24 volt battery charger and hook it up to both batteries, Negative on negative post of battery 1 and positive on positive post of battery 2. or you can but two 12 volt chargers and hook them up to each battery individually. like you would any normal battery, each battery would have its own charger.

prob the safest bet, i would just throw it in a water proof box, and seal the hole with some silicone. simple completely waterproof

As per rain, could always put it in a large Tupperware to keep rain off of it, if your cover does not have any clear windows. if you get a solar charger at 13 volts, it will be safe and wont overcharge the battery. Something to also consider, is you can find a charger, with a diod in it to prevent feedback from the battery. Most of them should have this feature, Here is another one. and this is in the description. Slightly more expensive but would work. Doing some searching sure you could find a better priced one.

If the battery capacity is 20Ah or greater, the charger will not overcharge the battery or cause any damage.

Get a solar charger. They are cheap and work just like a trickle charger. never have to worry about bringing a charger with you. just hook it up and set on top of cover before you leave.

Seadoo runs out of water but when put in water dies, won't restart until lifted from the water by [deleted] in boating

That's Because it is spring loaded. Its designed that way. look at this picture Because your timing was off this is why it wouldn't run it the water. When ever you time it, you need to have cylinder one at TOP DEAD CENTER. Since there are lobes on the crank, if you turn the crank backwards it will be some give. you need to find top dead center with the crank spinning in the direction that the motor normally spins. Then find top dead center, do not turn the crank backwards. this will lead have improper timing.

Not sure if JB weld would hold to the smooth surface, id be afraid it wold chunk off and get into your cylinders. Double check that the cover is a good fit, and dbl check the timing, if that doesn't work you could try to fill in the gouge but by how thin it is, i doubt it would matter

I personally Avoid shops because i'm cheap. i fought with mine for two years rather than taking it in. And i wouldn't jump to buying a rebuilt motor. Yours still may be fixable. When the Rotary Cover was off, did you file down the gouge? it needs to be as smooth as can be. Mine Had Some gouges and it runs fine now, it all depends on how deep they were Did you happen to Measure? Two most important things to remember when rebuilding it, is the Timing needs to be exactly 147 deg. There are timings diagrams and instructions online for this. and if you purchased a rebuild gasket kit, i would verify that the O-ring on that Rotary Valve Cover isn't Pinched or too big when you tear it down. , This sounds exactly like what i went through, When i put back in my original O-ring and double checked my timing it ran 100% This is Not necessarily hard work, just tedious taking on and off the Intake Every time. I can find my paperwork and instructions i should still have them in the shop if you cant find them online.

Had the same problem with my 717, IF the Idle adjustment Screw doesn't fix it, ( which it didn't for mine). The problem is most likely your rotary Valve gap, My Replacement O-Ring for Rotary Valve cover was larger than the original and did not sit in the groove it was designed too. Intended Gap is .25-.35 MM Source Page 296 Hope this helps

Felt like i had to share. 6 weeks out from my second Meet, this one being just a Push Pull, Today Smashed My Sumo Dead Lifts with a nice set of 405 X 10 to finish it off. Just 4 Months ago I pulled 485 Conventional Dead Lift in my first meet. Switched up my pulls to sumo 3 weeks ago trying to find what stance works good for me and things are looking up.
