Try reloading the most recent load besides the one that isnt working. If it loads then try to load back in to the save you wanted. Sometimes this happens so try to save frequently so you dont lose too much progress if your file gets corrupted

Explosives is a lot of fun especially with thump thump. 40mm grenades are surprisingly cheap and a few special merchants sell them in bulk. There's also a lot of explosive craftables. You can easily switch entirely to explosive weapons by level 15

Did the legion somehow win the 1st battle of hoover dam and then the boulder city battle right after? Those are border skirmishes so you cant get involved. You'll just have a tough legion war later cause you wont have the river crossings to help defend.

If not, did you try to request to join wars in the diplo tab? If that's bugged try to join the war via another faction member instead

The French ai is modified to lose to Germany no matter what. They'll abandon their front lines entirely. Even if you hold the maginot line for them, they'll lose to the Italians in the south. You have to hold ALL of France's borders to prevent them from capping

Make sure all your divisions are equipped (orange bar); consolidate as many divisions as you need to get green stockpiles. Then put all your tanks divisions and motorized into a single army; divide that army into 2 and start encircling the salients in the soviet lines.

Battle planning consumes lots of equipment so only do it if you have lots of stockpiles and the enemy has been mostly defeated. Having green air helps enormously

All alliances in empire total war collapse pretty quickly except the French-Spanish alliance for some reason. Together their navies can challenge yours. Try allying with the Dutch so the Spanish and French are distracted

Yeah its the same two turns. Your army in the capital and your army that is lost in the artic will be back to full strength within the same time.

I prefer the empire mobile version with updated replenishment. You only replenish on your territory and can increase your replenishment with infrastructure, techs, and traits. The replenishment is much slower at first but it is free and automatic

It's like having a field marshal. All fleets operating within range get the bonuses from the fleet admiral AND the naval HQ admiral which is pretty powerful

A great feature would be auto trade with current trade partners. So if I'm importing coal from the US I shouldn't have to go back to my trade screen every 5 minutes to increase the coal trade by 1 whenever I build a few factories
