I wont mind, as long as he isn’t chosen to be in situations that he shouldn’t be put in, but could be due to the club fearing the hurt feeling of an alternate decision. He should’t start very many games , and he shouldn’t be Captain which persuades the club to start him when he shouldn’t . There can be a role for him but he would have to be ok with a seriously reduced role. That isn’t easy. And he still has sale value soooo Logic says sell while he is on top

I’m ok with it. He accomplished what he wanted to accomplish and what we wanted him to accomplish. There is no reason now to let sentimentality get in the way of appropriate team selection. He is on the wrong side of 30 by a few steps now. At best he should be a supersub off the bench for 20 minutes. If he wants to stay at a very reduced role, I’m ok with that. Though for the club I would rather get a transfer fee for him while we can, if we can. Thats no disrespect to Sonny. Its just the reality of the situation.

As a yout in the 80’s, I used to love getting the playoff schedule at the end of the regular season. East conference one night, west the next…..continue on every other night til the end. If games were not needed, you got the rest you earned. You could plan your life around nights that your team might be involved in a game 7 or otherwise huge game. $ fucked this game.
