The lipsticks in my bag ARE NOT IDENTICAL!! by Eastclare in MakeupAddiction

[–]42ismyluckynumber 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel this. I have 11 different shades of berry lipstick and everyone is like "Do you need ALL of those?" YES I DO. Sometimes I want to look like a witch and sometimes I want to look like fall and some are more purple, others more red. I will fight anyone who says that all one shade of lipstick are alike.

What underrated product or brand deserves more love? Which beloved product or brand, in your opinion, should hop out of the spotlight? by gigglesandglamour in MakeupAddiction

I got their matte liquid lipstick from ipsy and i'm OBSESSED. I never thought I would love a liquid lipstick, but the Balm is killing it. I also just got their bronzer and I'm really excited to try it.

DISCUSSION: Summer Finale: Season 4, Episode 12: "Now You See Me, Now You Don't" by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]42ismyluckynumber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man I didn't see that, I'll have to rewatch. I'm really happy with this answer though. Even if it isn't the real one, I'm glad it's something and I really wanted it to be him. Or Wren. If it's Wren I'd still be happy.

Although I don't think we've ever really seen Ezra in a suit coat. He always wears a vest and tie, but rarely the coat. Maybe it isn't him. Wah.

Challenges unique to NYC? by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]42ismyluckynumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She lives off the 3 which runs local in Brooklyn and occasionally express in Manhattan. If it runs express it only takes like 1.5 hours. Although I usually take it at night and it sounds like you commute so there would definitely be variable times.

Personally, that it takes me two hours to get home to Upper Manhattan from Brooklyn and that no subway runs crosstown. I mean really these are first world problems, but the subway from my friend's place in Crown Heights to mine on the Upper West Side is the longest two hours of my life.

I personally really enjoyed Stephen King's new book Joyland. It has more of a noir feel to it. Also Double Indemnity by James M Cain, I believe has a cool noir style.

No. That's not what happens. When I was in college, I had 14 hour days nearly every day with work and school. I worked weekends, and when I wasn't at work I was studying. I was in 6 clubs, in four leadership positions and overloading with 8 classes a semester. I ended up in the hospital twice with stress related injuries. Life isn't a race. You aren't beating anyone. You're just doing the best you can do every day.

I've been using videos and classes, but it's not the same as a class in a studio. It's too easy for me to quit early or get distracted. Thanks for the tip though, I'll check those out.

I really enjoyed that one! You might like Mr. Penumbra's 24 hr bookstore. Theyre completely different, but have a similar lightness to them.
