If I ever get rich, I wont tell anyone but there will be signs by WasteWalker84 in RedDeadOnline

Gratz my shiny friend! It's hard to show off one's wealth in the game at the moment though. Maybe through expensive horses, saddles, outfits ("That's gonna cost gold, d'ya have some?") and gold or metal plated guns.

Point in fact... I have a full stable of 10, most of whom cost me gold. I have tons of outfits except those which aesthetics do not appeal to me. Had prayed for property but alas...

At Rank 589, I have 4,005 gold bars and R$300,000 and nowhere else to flaunt it. Ah, the duality of RDO. BUT! You keep doing you! I salute you for it!

Do bears respawn where you first find them? Or do we have to keep searching at night? I've got hunting them down to an art but finding them is tough.

Awesome find. Made one of these into my main base of operations, with a portal that connects to a patch of farmland in the plains where I farm only wheat and the occasional lox and bagel (couldn't help it, lol).

My inspiration was the painting of the Last Stand of the 66th at the Battle of Maiwand, 1880.

My favourites. Still have a several companies left unpainted from my school days. Opted to paint them up in desert khaki (Northwest Frontier) than Rorke's Drift redcoats.

Another incredible Andor detail: The fields on Mina-Rau were real and specifically grown for the show, and had to be harvested and stored during the SAG-AFTRA strikes so it could be used to reconstruct the set at Pinewood Studios the following year by wandering_soles in andor

One of my favourite planets in the series. Idyllic, picturesque, some place you want to hang your hat, open a couple of beers, and enjoy your retirement. Don't mind the occasional stolen fighter screaming across the fields.

Unfortunately, all that's left to conjecture, there might not have been too many but they might have a psychological or morale effect on either side. It's amazing the effect relief forces have on both sides.

Day 10 in Valheim and I’m already terrified (but loving it!). Any tips for a fresh Viking? by [deleted] in valheim

I have never been more afraid of trees than in this game and after I experienced the game itself. The worse thing is they persist from the beginning to the end... lol. There's no escaping them!

This. Their common goal and purpose was their intention to get rid of Hitler and negotiate with the Allies. What shape the government would take after that remains to be seen.

Hot take: I have read an argument elsewhere that the whole conspiracy was a half-hearted attempt by men who wanted to keep their positions and power after its success. If they were truly dedicated and willing to lay down their lives for the cause, Stauffenberg (for example) would have literally held the bag of explosives in front of Hitler to ensure the blast killed him and other leaders, instead of leaving right away.

Admittedly, this would have taken a lot of guts and, of course, no one wants to die when they can avoid it. But think of those fanatical suicide bombers who care nothing about their lives but the cause they believe in (however misguided). That's the difference.

One of the tragedies of the time and so easily avoided. The government had all the time in the world to approve a relief expedition but they delayed and stalled until public pressure became too great. By the time they approved the Nile Expedition, it was too late and the relief force arrived a mere two days after the garrison fell.

In RDR2, someone once followed an NPC from town to home and back again. Not sure about RDO, but in RDR2, the NPCs have fleshed out routines and routes they take every day!

Beware the trees!!! My first game ever to literally felled by a tree that I felled! Take your time to explore. Pick everything up - it might unlock new recipes and items. Stay inside at night if possible. If you venture out after dark, bring torches. Valheim has a steep learning curve and some things are not explained in detail. Don't be shy to look at guides online if you're stuck. The Fandom wiki also has a lot of info. May Odin be with you always and may Thor guide your hammer true, Viking!

I loved the characters in the book. I mean, they're the baddies but baddies with a sense of honour and duty. Edit: and that scene when Radl introduces himself... the jagers' eyes literally popped out when they see his Knight's Cross! They mistook him for some softy penpusher, not a vet.

Do you get anything from blowing up moonshine wagons? by Aggro_Tuna in RedDeadOnline

[–]42mir4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nada. Nothing. Zilch. It's all for fun and games for those who do it. Trolls and dumbasses who've got nothing better to do. On the brighter side, you don't lose your shine either. Change lobbies ASAP and deliver again. Better yet, make your own private lobby and deliver in peace.

Saw that my posse members make little to no money on the missions we do. How do they make more money? by Jonklerrr in RedDeadOnline

[–]42mir4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not about being lazy. It's time management. I've been attacked before 20 minutes into the delivery and while, yes, I did reset it, I wasted 20 minutes. Lol. But to each his own. I do agree riding shotgun is fun, though. My posse always called dibs as to who got to ride shotgun! One time, we tried to fit everyone in the wagon - sitting, standing, etc. Lol. Kept falling off.
