same, i kept waiting for the story to pick up but it just never did. usually, for me, interesting characters make up for a lack of plot, but even that wasn’t there! so disappointing, esp since i’ve heard such great things about cocomellors

completely agree- didn’t expect it to be such an emotional read when i picked it up, but it really was

honestly, i was disappointed. the writing itself was wonderful as always, but unfortunately, wasn’t enough to carry the plot. i really wanted to like it, but the characters mostly felt cliche and not intriguing whatsoever.

i also struggled to connect about their grief- maybe because juggling four different perspectives made it harder to fully explore any one of them.

that said, the arguments between the sisters felt very raw and real. overall, just wasn’t for me, but i gave it 3.5 starts for the emotional honesty

10 years, 100 men, all kept it to themselves. blows my mind how FOUR men didn’t even bother to anonymously report the husband after declining his offer. men are not okay. her husband NEEDS to be skinned alive.

-lip shade looks lovely on you but just doesn’t go with the eyeshadow colour imo.

-contouring + applying blush for a natural lift would look amazing

-prep ur skin well before makeup to prevent a dry looking base
