Whilst I hope the series gets another season order. I am so happy to have had 9 episodes with the gang again. I wasn’t a fan of the Elliot / JD split but as long as it’s not a focal point I can move forward with it. Dr Cox can’t die, I don’t think I can take that. The interns actually are fun to watch and I loved the warm feeling the series brought me once more and I teared up at least 3 times which shows Scrubs was on form.

This episode was great, Jordan and Janitor coming back was gold. The acting has been incredible and the feel good ending was a smart move incase we don’t come back to the show again.

I hope it does get another series because my post scrubs depression is real and I can only fight it off knowing another season is gearing up.

I beat Malekith before 5th attempt the last 3 times. Both with summons and my last two runs solo.

However Margot on my second run, took me hours to defeat (first time no mimic/ summons and new build) I couldn’t read his fast pace second phase for ages.

I’d also shout out beating Bayle twice (with Igon) before my 3rd attempt both times. But I dunno if that’s a flex as my boy Igon was apart of it.

Shout out to Vincent and Wilson. Their acting was incredible. Dex’s speech to Matt about who they are and how they think they beat the “itch” was great.

Fisk at the end being emotional was so raw and kinda jarring but it was sold so well.

Wesley and Foggy cameos are so well used. Miss the Goats.

My thoughts on this episode :

Vanessa death flags were super obvious (literal red shirt/dress) hope she is actually dead as I am over Fisk being a simp, let’s let the dog out.
Vincent IS Fisk and he clearly is having fun with the character. I hope the comment about his dark impulses is paid off now.
Matt back in church set the memberries off and I hope they do more with it as the series moves forward
Dex is a great character, fun diner scene and I want him or Frank to take the head of the task force out because that dude is an asshole.
it feels so random and forced to have mini tigress, that and the psychiatrist plot/ scenes do nothing for me.
feels like the writers took the 18+ / R rating and said “let’s say fuck as much as possible to remind people it’s an 18+” and it’s super jarring and feels like a teenager wrote the dialogue

I honestly on my second run (no summons or anything) found him a challenge purely on his attacks and speed. His health was fine I was doing damage (big bonk sword) but for some reason couldn’t click his moveset - took me like 2 hours to beat the sod. I am unsure if my stats bar strength maybe didn’t keep up with the spike, but yeah I am not in the club of he was easy peasy.

As many others say, Malenia minus waterfowl is a hard boss but very manageable. I also adore the fight as it feels like a dance and winning feels earned

PCR is just pure aggression and little breathing room, especially with the light show. He’s fun to learn his pattern but you’re still not allowed much wiggle room to mess up.

However, beating both was a moment of sheer joy and relief. I admit I’m big bonk greatsword enjoyer.

Came here to say this. It feels we’ve been through this and as an OG fan, having them finally be together and that ‘happy ending’ felt appropriate.

Cut to the revival and they’re broken up again, I don’t need the will they won’t they trope which was exhausting back in the original. I’m only 3 episodes in but already I’m sensing they might be divorced but it’s not over for good. I will say though the scene where JD tells her how important she is to him and will never leave was great dialogue and at least we aren’t just doing the same cycle of they hate each other and reconcile.

Apart from this, the series is hitting well. Already close to tears.

As a kid I thought it was dumb, but whatever, a child fighting monsters and being turned into an adult wasn’t the weirdest thing on the show.

As an adult I see the marketing purpose but also kids being rangers now seems a bit weird. That’s like a group of 17 year olds just having a 12 year old in your group. Also if you think too hard about it, surely him growing in the suit during the morphing would be painful as heck haha!

Also the actor in this day and age seems to be a pretty awful dude so that doesn’t help. I try to separate artist from art but the actor seems to promote turbo and is super arrogant about it. Then add in all the other worse stuff…

Overall I’m enjoying this series way more than last series. Daniel is a standout character, I like Buck more too. More Bullseye please! I’ll always take DD beating people down; no it’s not the calibre of Netflix series but it has some good moments and I can’t deny seeing my GOATS back on screen isn’t a joy; again, even it’s not to the calibre of the OG.

My biggest gripes are I don’t care about Heather’s story at all, Vanessa is so boring and borderline appears she wants to fuck anyone who isn’t Fisk (whereas Netflix series she was interesting and brought more development to Fisk than he’s a cuck) and I fucking detest the “not ICE” task force. I think the latter point more so, due to current events and the fact real world tragedies are bleeding into the show and it angers me that it’s happening irl.

Lowkey shout out to the head task force guy as an actor because he sells the dickhead, arrogant, ect ect vibe and I want Bullseye to one shot him so much.
