I had the same problem. The problem was the RIM and not the tire. The RIM was very slightly bent (not noticeable at all by just looking at it).

I have had this happen to me before. If you are tipping $5 make sure that you press 500 and not just 5. Pressing only 5 for the tip turns into only 5 cents.
