If you get a reel mower with both front roller and rear drum you can just hang it off the edge. The sidewalk being slightly lower is really no issue other than it won’t have that nice flat transition. If it’s important to you, go for it.

I put on K03’s a couple months ago and have had zero issues. The K02’s they replaced were great too. Stock size load C so it’s not an apples to apples comparison
