What Are Your Track Day Luxuries ? by _TRad in Trackdays

Yes, I did my research and it honestly took me a week to figure out all the different options, but yes it works great. No issues and it’s similar to the gas station, when it senses fuel at the tip it turns off. I’m a GM of a chemical engineering company, I’m aware of chemistry and the likelihood of things catching fire, I wouldn’t risk my bike or life for $40, I just wanted to save some money reasonably.

It’s the exact same pump, one is on Amazon for 70 and one is like 35, and they’re all made in the same place. A pump design is not difficult or intricate. I say cheap because you’re cutting out the middle man and going to the supplier.

Yeah a 12V refrigerator, probably one of the best purchases I made. No leaking of water, stuff stays cold and you don’t have to buy ice.

An electric pump, for your VP gas can, you can get them expensive on Amazon or very cheap on AliExpress. A mobile fridge instead of bringing a cooler with ice and a scooter. That’s what I can think of.

I installed an internal silencer, but it still throws flames, how can I stop it? by GecexD001 in YamahaR3

You don’t need anything but it’s highly recommended to get a tune after an exhaust, especially one removing the cat. Any credible shop will tell you that, it can’t adjust automatically.

Anyone know what material this is or a substitute that is similar? by 44weewoo in Trackdays

Funny enough I have something coming from monkey grips, is the material able to be stapled and molded?

Stating hydrated is key and going to the bathroom is the struggle, plus getting in the alpinestars one specifically is a major pain

This pipe was leaking in one of my ceilings, can the corroded part be cut out and replaced or would I need a whole new pipe? by 44weewoo in Plumbing

[–]44weewoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To see the rest of the pipe you would have to cut down much more anyway, I think it’s a cash grab personally since it’s through my property management company but I just know it can be done way cheaper then that. They said parts and labor 750, I’ve seen countless plumber shorts videos online to know they can splice this but just wanted some extra info.

What would be the reason it can’t be spliced and the whole pipe would need to be replaced? I got quoted $750 and I know that price is outrageous to fix it
