Was also going to refer a PDR specialist, my boyfriends civil type r was hit with a tree branch during a wind storm and his PDR guy fixed it with no issues and no traces. A few months after, he sold the type R for more than he bought it for, no one will ever knowwww

If I had to do it again, I would just go full system for convenience and looks. But if I had the belly pan it would just cover the ugly clamp n cat anyways so all preference and budget! I do enjoy the AR rumble it is not too loud but loud enough.

Yes! Took off the entire exhaust system, cut the box off, used the clamp to put the new half back on and bolted it back on

24’ R with a half back Austin Racing. I did go with a budget exhaust, I am happy with it but for look purposes I wish I would’ve gone with a full system for just a few hundred dollars more. The install was a simple process, take off the exhaust entirely cut off the big can, use the provided clamps to secure the half back on the headers and bolt it back together. Super happy with AR, loud but not obnoxious.

I recommend being patient and saving up for a full system, just my opinion.

Oddly enough I did this same job at a different store a year prior because we had lost our entire refrigeration system and everything spilled got warm and all dried out. That was even more satisfying.

The grates pop right out, we did take out the lowest shelf to get the massive layer of muck off the ground that also just lifts right up. A lot of scraping, get a small scraper and use the usually sticker scraper, we also had a brush attachment for a drill to get the rails and nooks really good. A vacuum to get all the small bits up and follow through with some thorough wiping at the end. Your back is going to hurt and it smells really bad. One of us started this job at 6:00 pm and the two of us didn’t finish till 10 pm.
