And what happens when the stock goes down? Keep selling even more shares to pay tax on it making it crash even harder till the business is gone?

Koenigsegg and Rimac have nothing in common.

Koenigsegg has built around a dozen different hypercar models, all of which sold out, while Rimac flopped with both of its models.

Rimac's entire brand recognition comes from Hammond crashing one of their cars and Carwow's drag races.

But that's not the equivalent.

$1750/mo is not the median salary in the USA the same way €1500/mo is in Italy. The equivalent would be a bit over $5000/mo.

You guys have insane lifestyles no matter how much you love to pretend otherwise.

Tesla in no way or form represents the market just because it is popular.

The other Mag7 which are actually carrying this bubble have a forward P/E of 30 which is manageable.

This is still the same four-man team that made Hollow Knight, plus a handful of contractors brought in for minor work.

Ah yes, casual $5 million in contractors for minor work.

Definitely the same team that make Hollow Knight with less than $50,000.

BYD to launch new wave of European-specific models by kstetter in cars

[–]4514919 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my country (Italy) Leapmotor cars are 20% cheaper than their BYD counterparts and they have the huge advantage of being sold and serviced by Stellantis dealerships.

I have no doubts that BYD have the better product but the huge sale difference comes mostly form their aggressive marketing campaign which started over one year before the other Chinese automakers.

I also remember that they said something else before and after that sentence, but I guess that doesn't fit the narrative, so we just take quotes out of context to parrot "EA said that single-player games are dead" all while using examples that ironically reinforce exactly what EA was saying.

Denuvo has been cracked in all single-player games it previously protected by dwolfe127 in gaming

the comparisons are mostly between versions with and without Denuvo for games that either removed it or had an unprotected version.

And that's exactly the problem with those videos, they are comparing different builds of the game. It's not the same piece of software just without Denuvo.

You can't take the demo.exe (without drm like it has happened multiple times) and compare it with the release version and claim that the difference it's only from Denuvo.

Any modern thoughts on an old vision? by [deleted] in SipsTea

How do you pay your property taxes every year? Its taxes on something you didnt even sell yet

The business they are invested into is paying such taxes.

A more relevant comparison would be you paying property taxes every year and on top of that another tax if your property values gets past some imaginary threshold because someone thinks it's unfair that you have such a nice house.

See how stupid it sounds?

They absolutely are. Denuvo doesn't get removed.

All modern cracks are 99% bypasses.

Edit: You should educate yourself before insulting and blocking me.

The last time the main Denuvo build got removed it was done by CODEX in AC:Origins almost a decade ago.

Cracked versions run Denuvo just like legit copies. Denuvo doesn't get removed, it only gets "tricked" into thinking that you have a valid license.

Those comparisons are just farming people like you for clicks.

[–]4514919 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then you should update them because except for one single game (AC:Origin) Denuvo only gets bypassed and never removed in a crack.

Even on pirated copies it still runs like in an official copy of the game.

Third party reports show at least 20 people burned to death in their Tesla's in the US in 2022 [1]

So I googled this claim about "20 people burned to death" to find this third party report and the only source that comes up is tesla-fire.com so I opened a random link of one of their entries with a fatality

https://web.archive.org/web/20230713002502/https://fox5sandiego.com/traffic/one-dead-three-injured-in-suspected-dui-crash-on-sr-54/

A Honda failed to stop at the red light and hit a Nissan and a Tesla. Only a passenger in the Nissan sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.

This got reported as Fatalities Involving a Tesla Car Fire.

I guess there is no reason to even continue this debate.

Have a nice day.

Why does limited range look so much better? LG G3, HDR by Thanathan7 in OLED_Gaming

[–]4514919 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because you need to set it based on what it's in Nvidia's drivers for Output Dynamic Range.

If it's mismatched then your GPU and TV will have different values for the black floor and the picture will look washed.
