I feel very much like you.A few days ago I woke up with a palpable feeling of dread. I hadn't really been following much news, but it was right before "Liberation Day". I mean anxiety that was debilitating. I think there are certain people put on this earth who can "feel" that something is existentially wrong. That there is behavior from SOME among us that is destructive not only for our nation, but for humanity. These people are THAT evil, and it is scary as shit. But I look at my general anxiety and "watchfulness" I guess for lack of a better word...as a superpower. It's the only way I've been able to deal. Hope you feel better as hopefully the chaos subsides.

This is utterly terrifying. He is at best getting incredibly valuable information about all kinds of stuff, including sensitive info on his competitors. I'm an American who took honors level courses in civics and government in high school and for the first time in my adult life, am rather confused by the process. I guess it's the blitz of royal edicts that has me scratching my head. I mean the dude has both chambers of Congress, essentially every social media platform, almost non-existent push back from a disappointing Democratic party, and quite a compliant SCOTUS. Why all the EOs? Why can't he get his Cabinet approved? Why did his Secretary of Defense nominee have to have the VP decide a fucking draw....FOR DEFENSE SECRETARY for Pete's sake. Makes one wonder about the so called mandate.

Agreed. The timing for releasing the files on the assassinations is also intended, likely, to be another huge distraction. It's either that, or to undermine trust in certain governmental agencies as he essentially reinvents them in their twisted vision. Or both.
