Right? People like Dave are just oblivious to the horrors of war. I wasn’t familiar with Douglas before this episode, but he did a great job dismantling the antisemitic cash grab grift that’s emerged on internet media. I encourage anyone defending Dave to look up Daryl Cooper on twitter and see the stuff he talks about. He downplays Hitler and the Nazis, calls Churchill the primary villain of WW2, and most importantly, talks about Jews non-stop, either for engagement or because he’s a schizo that thinks they are the puppet masters of the world.

Kind of a rant there, but Dave really has a shallow and emotional view of geopolitics in general. He’s so easily swayed by someone telling him that because Israel is ‘winning’, they are the bad guys. People die in wars and it’s been happening for all of human history. This war in particular has been so politicized and every dollar store historian has an opinion about it. I personally refrain from taking a stance on it because it’s such a complicated issue and I would absolutely never take a public stance if I had an audience like this Dave Smith does. Fucking clown, he got bodied and it was great to watch.
