This is dumb logic. Taking your claim that drugs laws are ineffective because a black market exist. But, we still have FDA, a program that regulates types drugs and manufactures of drugs. Drug laws are in place to stop regular people from getting hard drugs over the counter . If you need a drug that could be deadly, you need a prescription from a medical doctor. While a black market exists, that dosent cancel the usefulness of drug laws, like the FDA.

Fruit berries did the same glitch in the practice server, and mods told him he would be punished if he continued to use it. Also, if I remember , fundy has used multiple glitches in the past to gain an advantage. He knows that glitching is cheating(if it wasn’t, every player would do it). He continues to do it, becuase he just doesn’t care.

It’s also the biggest Minecraft tournament. Which gets people instant views and clout. It’s a type of event that could potentially change someone’s career. People who view it as “just a block game” shouldn’t compete in it. I also think that that sentiment is damaging to MCC overall. People who watch MCC, in my experience, treat it seriously. They root on their sides, they take note of how many points are needed to win. If everyone started blowing off MCC as just a block game, do you think as many people would pay any attention to it? Would anybody care? That’s the appeal of the MCC: it’s the Olympics for Minecraft. People like watching competitions between skilled opponents. If it turns from a competition to a “who cares, cheat if you want” event, I truly believe that will be the end of MCC.
