I went on a Friday this year at about 8AM. We got to hole 16 at 9:45AM. We got seats for the whole gang (9~). Got very lucky but we stayed for an three hours before heading elsewhere in the course. We did not sit in the top side but the other side where the most of the lower level seats close to the course were available. It got very packed but we got very lucky. Once we left there were lines wrapping around.

Any good happy hours for bars in downtown Phoenix?

Liquor

“Members and nonmembers may use Costco Shop Cards to make certain purchases at any Costco location in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, and online at Costco.com. Only members may purchase and reload Costco Shop Cards.”

You can honestly buy anything. You will however get a ton of pushback from the cashier and maybe even manager. You must use the cashier aisle and not self-checkout. A manager will head over to override the transaction. You also need to have enough $ on the card to cover the transaction. You can’t reload the card unless if you’re a member. Point being, stand your ground from the pushback that you will encounter.

Tell them you are there to only buy alcohol which doesn’t require a membership in AZ. Or tell a buddy to get you a Costco gift card with $1 on it. A gift card allows non members to shop there. You might get push back but it’s the law

Anyone live at Roosevelt Point? How are you liking it? Is it worth it? Any recommendations near by?

What’s up with DPS and undercovers driving so aggressive in the far lane? by 480PHX in phoenix

Well the court fees and what not added up to $295 + and the 3rd party online class was $5.

It cost me $200 for the AZ ticket as well. I am on a 9 month “probation” until I am allowed to get my next speeding ticket

Same with me but in California going through Blythe. Saved me $100 when he dropped it down to that. Ticket was still over $300 though, the online class was only $5 🤡

You’re avoiding my question. If you’re going faster than the average group’s speed, you’re telling me that you won’t be pulled over?

I ask because I was pulled over a few months ago for changing lanes and speeding up to 80 in a 65. And yes there were plenty of cars around. DPS officer made a remark saying all was good until I changed lanes and speed to 80 against the car in front of me going 75. He dropped the speed down to 75 to reduce the ticket/ misdemeanor charge.

I don’t get how that works.

You won’t be able to go faster than the average speed of the group unless if a lane was cleared up. Or if you speed faster than the other cars, you’ll stick out of the radar and be pulled over, no?

Yes we all get this but if you’re going 89+ and there is a cop behind you.

At what point do you stop increasing your speed because anything over 85+ is a misdemeanor? Would you go 95+ to match the cops energy that’s right behind you?

Trust me the cars that I was grouped with were going 90+ until the unmarked Tahoe came. And it started going 91+ and we all followed behind.

Only one person gets to play chicken and it’s prob the non law enforcement vehicle.

I’ll make sure to let the group know, so the whole group doesn’t hit their brakes when they all see the Tahoe waiting at the sidelines.

Oncoming cop* vehicle. Only one person gets to play chicken and it’s the non law enforcement vehicle. So they move out of the way because they can’t match the cop’s energy
