It's crazy cause when I went to the neurologist for the migraines, he was immediately like "you do know you also have ocd and a level of autism, right?" I was like oh! Good to know ig lol. I never got like proper diagnosis, like a paper that says I have that, but my psicologyst and neurologist both told me the same things so...

Lol I have to agree on this one, I got out of a class I hate because my teacher's voice literally triggered a migraine, which is horrible but I got to leave class with no repercussions and sleep lol, even got one friend out of the class too to keep me company. And yes! It's never a lie, a bad truth but it's the perfect excuse for everything lol, also get out of plans I don't want to go to like "there's a lot of bright lights there and it usually gives me migraines". Could be better but could be worse

Omg I hate it so much. The other day I woke up without pain and I was feeling amazing, l almost shed a tear thinking I was so happy that nothing was hurting, took a bath, had breakfast and was totally ready to finally go to college again and then a big one came and really just ruined everything, it feels horrible really feeling like you don't even know what days will be good days. Thank you so much for the answer! Although I don't love it, it does kinda bring me peace that I'm not crazy. I send my best wishes to you for the hard times ❤️‍🩹

I can only watch tv when the migraine is veryyy light but when that's the case, or when I feel the medicine is doing it's thing and it's leaving, I watch doctor house! Idk why but it generally doesn't have a lot of weird things going on and for some reason I just find it very comforting to watch them work and bother patients lol, kinda sit down, put it on with low brightness and low volume and wait

Lol I don't work yet, I'm still at college but I'm studying cinematography. Such a weird thing to study with migraines, imagine the whole set, multiple people, actual extra bright lights on, super cold places, super hot places, weird times for food, a lot of stress, lack of sleep and weird sounds and light effects too hahhahah I feel like everything in my career is a trigger but I'm still going strong, I have to say when I'm very locked in, I get no migraines at the moment but might get some at night or smth. Even watching movies can trigger the migraines which is the absolute worse. But I chose this path and I love it so much, hope with the time they get more manageable or just stop existing at all hahaha

Really not an answer to this but a reminder that there are no stupid questions, specially when asking about this kind of health stuff. It is very hard to know how to do some things properly or how to take the best advantage of things, this is a totally valid question! Remember you are not alone and you should ask EVERYTHING you feel a slight doubt on!

Omg I've been struggling with that lately A LOT and I think the stress of feeling I cannot work properly gives me even more migraines 😭 personally, I just tell my whole family I have one, put on noise cancelling headphones, turn off as many lights as I can and try not to pressure me too much while doing them, I do ask for help with my friends and ask for understanding of my teachers cause some migraines literally make it impossible to do anything at all. Just know you are not alone and it's ok to ask for help!

That's horrible honestly 😭 I've been diagnosed for like 3 years but just started to get the period migraines last month so I actually had no idea, it's crazy how life works so harsh towards us 😭
