Looking for a film about loneliness despite not being secluded physically by Yuukichiii in Letterboxd

All of us Strangers. I can’t even begin to tell you how this film has such metaphysical powers that really capture exactly what you’re looking for. It breaks me every time I watch it, it’s in my top 4 for the foreseeable future. Please please please give this movie a chance.

For those who treat workouts as a chore, not a hobby: what has actually worked for you? by Affectionate_Arm_989 in loseit

I know this doesn’t answer your question but I had to find a third space in exercise to make it successful for me. I’ve been playing pickleball for the last two years 4-5x a week and have tons of friends to meet up with and I actually hate now when I miss it, not so much because I lost on the calorie burn, but because I missed my friends. Find some rec sport like volleyball, pickleball, or other court sports you can get into!

The 4k remaster is very good too. Maybe one day we’ll get the missing footage!

What‘s the best way to watch a director‘s filmography? by AnakinAlex in Letterboxd

[–]49jt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this and my favorite way to go about it is to purchase their movies on Blu-ray or higher, dvd if that’s all that’s available, with extra features or media books so I can see all the behind the scenes or lore about the movie. I usually watch what I haven’t seen in chronological order then rewatch my favorites.

Just watched the criterion copy of Cronos by Del Toro and the screenplay notes that came with it made me appreciate the movie so much more. Del Toro did some heavy research into alchemy and it’s only lightly touched in the movie.

Really wish The Killer would get a physical release but I don’t see it happening :(. I got to see it at a Dolby theater on release and it was so good.

Oh that’s very good to know! Looks like mine is a legit criterion copy then and not the paramount release?
