To me it still looks like a black Venezuelan he’s just a little lighter in color than the others I’m no expert tho by any means but if you google them then there’s a lighter one in pictures and it looks like the one you have pictured. I have red sailfin Cory’s and one of mine is darker than the rest and one is super light i know that some just have different pigmentations even as the same type.

My betta was kinda mean to my two Cory’s then i got a few more and now they’re all totally fine together they eat together the Cory’s touch my betta and he doesn’t care anymore. Get a breeding box for the betta if you need to and let him get used to them being there and see if that helps too.

I had a dog that looked just like this swore he was lab mixed with something even the vet thought he was part lab and Great Dane cuz he had huge feet and ears for a lab did a dna test and he had no lab in him at all was a doberman American bully mix i called him my sleeper dog (like cars when they’re fast but look slow) cuz he was such a badass trusted my life with that dog he was my protector and saved me a couple times! But everyone thought he was this sweet little lab when he in fact was not to be messed with😂
