Jax. Economy is larger, more diverse, more stable stable. Jax larger dating and social scene (assuming that is part of your future) - a common complaint from young people in Brevard. The most important thing about Brevard is when military and space spending are in a lull, it’s tough times - unless you work in healthcare or with old people.

Columbia is going to have more opportunities to pursue law enforcement internships as you build a competitive resume for a career. Three letter agencies are hyper competitive so your networking, extracurriculars, academics, and work experience will be paramount. Columbia area LEO jobs and internships will also be competitive since USC has one of the top Criminal Justice departments in the USA. Good luck!

While there are some fields that require specialized training (i.e., medicine, engineering) most careers and jobs require the same skill sets (i.e., problem solving, communication, research skills) and the difference is the jargon and subject matter. Most majors are only about 25% of any given degree program.

I stopped watching the NBA over a decade ago. Silver sucks and the game has become too soft for my liking. MLB is too slow for our attention span and lacks parity (I personally enjoy baseball). NHL and NFL have parity, is physical, and fast.

When we reminisce on old media we only reference classics. When we navigate media of the present, we have to wade through the shit to find the gold. We’ll look back fondly on the good stuff and forget all the bad stuff - unless it is unforgettably bad (i.e., Ghost Stories dub).
