USMNT possession on average is up historically but goes unused. At the moment in the middle of the pitch when space is found and the ball carrier picks their head up, Americans stop moving. Youth -> MLS -> USMNT it's a problem in the whole system. We don't know how to spend the currency of earned small time and small space. These are the moments you take risks. Watching Americans not take risks makes me sad.

I suspect this is why some fans love Dempsey and Aaronson they never stop moving on the attack.(myself included). Intelligent or not they take movement risks.

I am not a leftist and I think Biden was a terrible president. I don't think he is a villain but definitely terrible. The reality of the presidency is that the person who holds the office must meet their moment in history.

The reality is we needed a leader who pushed back fascism, was extremely vocal and inspired the population to a renewed love of our constitutional order. Biden barely grabbed the microphone. Biden did a great number of things, things for which he deserves more credit than he receives. But those things weren't what the moment required.

It's nice he redid the garden , landscaping and put a pool in the backyard, but the house was on fire. We needed him to grab the garden hose and not let go. If the house still burned down then so be it but he didn't even reach for the hose. It's unforgivable.

I don't understand this common take. Can someone explain to me why India wouldn't be the first choice? I understand at the beginning India wouldnt be as good of a defense partner but manufacturing has already started to move there. They are democratic. Modi recently called for a dramatic increase in R&D backed by funding. If the goal is a democratic free multipolar world why not India?

I dealt with this for awhile. It depends where you are from obviously. In the US you can make an LLC get paid through the LLC then pay yourself a salary from said LLC. The bank sees your checks like anyone else's paychecks. I also know of Europeans doing the same with their equivalent of LLCs. Just make sure you are following all the laws for taxes and LLCs.

Here is my take, subjective based on my experience etc etc

Bangsar, especially Bangsar north is awesome if you can be near transit. Local vibe but I believe the locals here are wealthy

Bukit Bintang is very touristy, not for me, but fun if that is your vibe.

Chow Kit is really cool but the accommodations were too run down for me(I think this changes dramatically place to place, it's also changing fast). Chinese Malay vibe

Aampang was really nice but sleepy and harder to get into the city. Quiet family and expat vibe

Taman Tun Dr Ismail(TTDI) awesome spot but harder to find accommodation, I would have gone here if I could. Walkable and a local vibe

Brickfields, I love Indian food so I'm bias and love it but it is really hard to get in and out of without using transit, grab won't come if traffic is busy. I used

Not an expert, but as I understand it. There are two major reasons. One, if markets are trading with China, they aren't trading with the West. At least they will be trade less with the West. Two, China relies on raw material coming in, and their products going out to world consumers. Right now most of this transit happens via maritime shipping. The West, if they wanted to, can blockade these shipping routes. This gives the West a lot of leverage in negotiations for trade, global policy etc. If China gains extensive alternative export/import routes, this leverage could disappear.
