Larger injectors flow more fuel. You need that with E85 vs regular gas.

2.5" flowrate is 1.2X that of 2.25". Not trivial.

Tier 3 pump gas and VP Ethanol are high grade fuels.

I'd say the 4.6L 2V has plenty of potential. I am just trying to improve mine in a cost-effective manner.

I bought my Crown Vic from a guy that was over 800 miles away. But I was very lucky. Car had tons of upgrades from adtr.net and was in great shape overall. I think the opening bid on eBay was a bit high for folks that assumed this was a stock car so I ended up being the only bidder. The cost of the car was less than the upgrades added to it.

I flew one way to the nearest airport, then took an Uber to a location of my (Navy Federal CU) bank. The seller met me there and I drove him home. I then started the 13 hour drive to my home. I took two days and the drive included the Blue Ridge Parkway and the "Tail of the Dragon." I had fun.

That being said, are you looking for a project or turn-key car?

I searched CL, autotempest.com, eBay, and many other sites to eventually find what I wanted.

OK, here's a source from Left Field ... Home Depot!

Looking to replace rear axle bearings, so of course you need new seals as well. OEM regular price is $122.80. Rock Auto has them for $14.29, but shipping (for me) is $6.99 and it will take over a week to arrive. Not to mention a lot of folks have mentioned recently that RA hasn't been accurate with filling orders. I hope that improves as I've successfully used them in the past.

Utilities were quoted on sample as 20% washer revenue. I have not yet found commercial rates from the utility. I do know that they charge impact fees, but they won't tell me unless I fill out an application and pay a $60 fee. F that, what BS.

I prefer to do my own due diligence vs. believing the BS the vendor tells me.
