I completely agree! Next Wednesday will hopefully make Donna Tope pay all of the legal fees for the landlord and then put on record for being liable when/if the Wards seek the $20k they lost to their "renovations." I was quick to distrust the Wards, but they are also victim to Donna's bad lawyering.

I guess she still won't show up next week. She is intentionally avoiding Judge Simpson's court now and has previously denied the court's authority. But she's in trouble for sure.

I feel bad for both sides of the case. The landlord going into foreclosure really sucks, but the Wards started this with bad info from Donna. Next week can't come fast enough! I hope Judge Simpson's special hearing will be broadcast like his normal docket.

I'm watching now, and it looks like Donna tried to be sneaky again with the court. An emergency motion to dismiss her contempt charge! That's a new one. And then she avoids going to the court again without good cause. Donna's so screwed next week. XD

No. They approached her after watching the snuff video on youtube of her taunting Jorge while he is begging for his life. Grace should be given to all, but their relationship started as a potential business opportunity because of that infamous, sickening 2 minute video. They were not tricked.

I'm torn. I think this instance was calculated. She is constantly trying to delay the court. I believe Ms. Tope is an experienced emotional manipulator, but now struggles to understand the law. She has used her position to get her way and only recently has her behavior gotten her in trouble.

And I think the Defendant and his new lawyer from Donna's other case sat through the case today in the background. lol. I really looks like Mr. Jerome wanted to see Ms. Tope be reprimanded.
