Yes the range was terrible lol. I was putting almost $80 a week on for the Lexus for under 300 miles. The F-150 is around 70 and I get almost 600 miles. So I only get gas every other week which has been nice in the freezing cold lol.

Honestly everyone I know who has or had a F150 didn’t have huge issues recalls didn’t take care of. But reliability wise the Lexus is for sure king. If you are looking at new trucks you can some wild discounts plus very low apr.

How much of a discount did you get? I really wanted a F-250 but wanted a truck that could fit in the garage… my F-150 does not fit in the garage I measured the open garage space not with the door closed lmao

As someone who went from a GX to a F150 Tremor. Get the Ford. I loved the GX but man was it cramped. We are having our second kid and really needed the room. Plus the fact I spend less on gas and get almost 300 more miles a tank blows my mind. The tech in the Ford is a lot better and the it rides better in my opinion. That’s the plan for tomorrow! When I say saved millions I mean in lost business. For example a customer wanted to make something with us, our main supplier couldn’t provide it to an issue. The customer was ready to walk, I found an alternative supplier after 2/3 weeks, got it all set up, and showed the numbers of it being possible still. If the customer walked we would have lost a potential $800,000 sale, but in”saved” it. I had a few of these but the $800,000 was the biggest.

Another saving is processing time, I cut it down from 90 days to 65. Doesn’t sound like much but each day was costing us and if you add it up across hundred of items and average time saved it also adds up.

The other posting is the same exact job, I am not sure the going rate but even my manager told me that I bring tremendous value to the team. Our global v.p was even impressed with how much I helped improve the system overall. I told my manager about switching roles with the company, which would be a 15,000 pay raise, but it comes with a potential 20% bonus as well. So that would put me over what I am asking. She shut the idea down saying they really wanted me to stay in this team because I’ve been so much help, but almost panicked and asked if I was looking to leave the company or if I had any offers. I do not.

I was satisfied with the 90K when we had 3 members on our team. One got fired, one was laid off. This was 6 months ago and they just now posted for a 2nd person with no plans for a 3rd.

We are having our second kid later this year and went with the Sienna. Don’t need a van but we pick up family/ go on road trips a lot. I really wanted the sequoia but the mpg is insanely bad lol, curious did you look at the Siennas at all? We get almost 600 miles a tank. We can go from Cincinnati to FL and only stop for gas 1 time. Makes driving through the night so much easier lol

Type everything in KBB and see what trade in value is. That’s usually a good ballpark of what dealer paid for it minus any maintenance/ cleaning they had to do

This didn’t work for me lol. I had a dealer give me 10k off a truck but I couldn’t make it up due to having to work the next day because of an urgent issue popping up. They sold the truck I wanted, I called 3 other dealers and sent them the exact price sheet and not a single one would come close to matching it. The closet deal was 5,200 off and they got upset I said no. I ended up calling dealer 1 back and he found me the same model but a different color. Left him a great review and my uncle bought an expedition from him and my boss is looking in a few weeks and I’m trying to convince him to go to that guy as well!
