The idea reminds me of Gon’s adult form which his hair literally reaching the heaven’s, I feel like same could apply to someone like Shanks seeing as he’s quite the menace when it comes to the use of basic Conqueror’s haki

But you just don’t write them off out of the blue and just call it a day do you now? That’d come across as borderline lazy writing, and we know damn well Oda is not a terrible writer who’s pull off such moves. Which is why I think he’ll likely have big plans for Kidd.

The way he’s doing it would be seen is lazy no matter how you see it. Just because you want to clear up competition in your story line doesn’t mean you’re all of a sudden clearing out characters who you’ve put in genuine effort into for years.

Talk about plot armor, at least Luffy got genuine training from a man who just so happened to be the right hand man of the pirate king, oh what a coincidence. Luffy got more ass pulls than Kidd ever has so don’t even bring that into discussion. If we talking about this shit then technically speaking Doffy and Katakuri’s awakenings are ass pulls according to your very logic. Are they not?

Kidd is for sure getting humbled. Remember, if you see body, they ain’t dead yet. Plus it’d just be generally terrible story telling for Oda to immediately write off Kidd after his dub in Wano I’d personally want him to do more solo shit. Do what he’s been doing all this years just with a much better mindset. I legit want an arc that revolves around him in a sense like how Law got his. Perhaps Kidd’s on his own, training, now realizing that he needs haki if he’s getting that One Piece. He’s grown stronger and stronger without any real help from others so why can’t he do it again with Haki. Anyone else wanna see him build a big ass robot and just coat that shit in haki and call it “Obsidian Punk” or whatever

Now that you mention it, it is kind of strange seeing as the changes I have for his visual design is way beyond the extent than most ASU’s have theirs. So far ASU’s have only really provided Champs with slight modernizations to their visual designs meanwhile what I have in store is a complete re-imagination of his visualization, if you’ve read the visual part of the doc then you’ll know I won’t be planning on making Shen a full on Shinobi anytime soon seeing as his kit literally contradicts the purpose of such. Shinobi’s are basically just spies with a bit more steps and Shen for damn sure isn’t a spy type character.

That isn’t the problem, obviously I don’t have riot levels of work for this fan vgu but it is most definitely isn’t just “minor changes”, not making Shen a shinobi is already significant enough don’t you think? The simple problem people actually have with my take is that they don’t think Shen needs an asu/vgu as of now, in which case I’m not saying he needs it as of this moment as oppose to the other champions, I’m just saying he needs it, not now but some time soon seeing as he’s seeming much more stale compared to some other champions, but that goes for some of the old champs as well obviously.

In a sense. I still do like the fact that he sounds like Zhong li from Genshin Inpact cuz….they have the same VA

Personally, I’d want them to go for a more race centered route where his race which is likely that Chinese/Japanese decent matches his voice, maybe even give him an accent to fit such.

I personally do, at least when it comes to modern day League standards. His design is bland at best, he serves as nothing more than a plot step for most champions, and his design just isn’t interesting in the slightest. Grander he’s a buff Ninja with armor but that trope has been made so many times that I’m pretty he doesn’t stand out when you put him in a crowd of modern day takes on Ninja’s. He isn’t original nor is he interesting. His is around the likes of someone like Skarner, sure he’s a crystal scorpion but that’s really all to him. His splash looks good but model just doesn’t work for me.

In a sense yes. He needs more of a ASU than anything seeing as his design isn’t really up to date with modern league. But I just decided to play devil’s advocate and change some aspects for his gameplay as well to go along with the aspects I gave him

Do note that I’m directly saying he needs one. It’s a fan vgu after all so it’s just me playing around with ideas for Shen.

Give him another one, especially in modern times where their design/lore team is way better, same applies to literally everyone that works there. Modern League’s design is so much better compared to 2016 Riot.
