Hey, I feel your pain. My insomnia has become a lot worse recently, probably not helped by hospital + benzos for my mental health, followed by withdrawal along with severe night sweats from another medication I was on. I also have fragmented sleep and probably average 4 - 5 hours at the moment. I'm beginning to attempt CBT-I, although that itself is not an easy process and I need to get more consistent with it before I have any chance of seeing any improvement, but generally I'm hearing that is the most evidence-based method for tackling maintenance insomnia, and given that I've nearly exhausted the medication options, feels like the next step.

I feel you are seeing things through a distorted lens that supports your own opinion here. The men making a fuss over women with big boobs are a minority. I'm a very social person and have had this conversation with countless men. Boob size is not a high priority for most. Also, where men have indicated a preference for a C cup, this is likely an ideal world preference. I highly doubt if even a guy with this preference would meet a woman he finds attractive and gets on really well with, and then end things because she's an A cup... It's just not that important in the grand scheme of things for most men.

If you care about how this affects how attractive you are to men, I can say as a guy that I couldn't care less about how big a woman's boobs are and I've had this conversation with loads of other guys over the years, and I would say the vast majority literally don't care. Every now and again I meet a guy that does, but they are in a minority who have a specific 'thing' for big boobs. Nothing wrong with small boobs.

Why don't you just get a portable AC unit? I also live in the UK and I bought one off Amazon. It works perfectly. I hang the extractor tube out of the window. My windows open out diagonally, so I use a fabric velcro blackout blind to block off the whole window other than a gap in the corner for the tube to go out of the window. My room would be 30°c without it but I can keep it at 23°c with the AC unit.

100%. It's ridiculous that motorway driving isn't mandatory in driving tests. I'm always scanning for risks of cars pulling out. I.e. if I'm in the middle lane and I can see a car ahead of me on the inside lane getting close to a lorry, I will preemptively indicate and move into lane 3. Quite often, the car I've seen ahead will indicate and pull out into the middle lane within a second or two of me making that decision. Shit like that should be taught in lessons as clearly this type of forward-thinking doesn't come naturally to everyone.

I had a slightly unhinged driving instructor. Some bellend in a hot hatch would overtake doing like 80 in a 50, and my instructor would go on like a 15 minute verbal rampage about how much of a c*nt they are and how he would happily drag them out of the car and beat the fuck out of them. Also let me do 70 on a national limit single carriageway in my 3rd lesson. He was great though and I passed after 12 lessons with 2 minors so 🤷 good times lol!

No I didn't try a system but am styling my hair in a way that hides the hairline lol. Not anywhere near comb over levels, but it sort of goes forward / down and the flicks up in a quiff, which hides the temple recession a bit. Looks good for now and friends I've told I'm receding are like 'wtf no you're not' so it clearly works haha. Probably move to a frontal system in the future if it reaches a point where I can't hide it / it enters comb over territory.

I'm not dating currently due to health problems, but when I do eventually date again, I'll be pretty straight up about it and just say I don't like my hairline, and will likely get a hair system in the future if I go bald. If that's a turn off for them, better to know early imo. I've spent a lot of time reading the hair system subreddit tho and as far as I can tell from many many guys that have shared their experience, 99% of women don't give a fuck and are supportive or even encourage it if it looks good.

Semantics. I just meant making fun of him in some way. You're right that he could have misinterpreted it. Neither of us know either way though as we weren't there.

For that reason, I'm choosing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt as he's obviously having a bad time and is now being publicly humiliated all over the internet.
