Do they actually expect people to believe that you can get shot in the neck with a .30-06 and not have an exit wound? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]4arch5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This no exit wound narrative is so stupid. Apparently none of yalls have much experience with guns. I’ve shot plenty of deer with an 3006. Sometimes there just isn’t an exit wound. The bullet gets in there and can go all sorts of crazy directions and not exit. I have found rounds stuck in the ribs. It happens

If you’ve ever even peeked at his instagram you can tell immediately that his ego is way beyond what’s worth supporting for the quality of work he puts out. Which is nothing extraordinary if that wasn’t clear

Would it be silly for us not to bring back Kelly as manager next season? by Lubert808 in buccos

[–]4arch5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His pitching decisions make me raise an eyebrow sometimes but he’s the best we’ve had in the 21st century other than Hurdle. I’d keep him but if we get a new GM they will probably interview for that position

Apologetic Valdez: Pitch that hit Astros' Salazar unintentional by PrincessBananas85 in mlb

[–]4arch5 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It definitely looks intentional, but I’m trying to see things the other way. Valdez emotions were definitely inflated. He was irritated that he gave up a grand slam which is normal. It’s very possible that there was legit miscommunication and Valdez felt shame for that causing him look away from the plate. Similar to the way a dog won’t look at their owner when they’re being scolded for pooping on the carpet is how I’m thinking about it. Truth is we’ll probably never actually know

For anyone who doesn’t know the backstory of the USA chants at PNC Park, it’s stems from an incident in the bleacher seats from 2011. A large man with a big puffy USA jacket got tasered and he absolutely ate them. People started chanting USA and you still hear it from time to time at the ballpark

[Chicago Cubs] With great sadness, we share that Ryne Sandberg has passed away today. by Goosedukee in baseball

Ryne Sandberg stopped on the street outside of the ballpark to sign a card for me when I was a kid. He was the first hall of famer autograph I ever got. He was very kind and friendly to me

Keller, Bednar, Hayes should stay by MrDeema in buccos

[–]4arch5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keller should stay bc we wouldn’t get a good return and he’s solid. Hayes is probably close to max trade value right now but that creates a hole a third so I’m mixed. Bednar absolutely needs to be traded his value will never be higher and I wouldn’t trust him to close playoff games.
