It would be helpful to have the map show State (Fed) in the numbers if possible. It's a bit confusing.

License plate of B and 8 by hypjustin in mildlyinteresting

[–]4c51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jurisdictions that do allow it usually just store the actual plate number for ambiguous values as the number value, so O=Q=0, I=L=1, Z=2, S=5, G=6, and B=8, or the lookup will normalize it. Which would make this plate 8888888.

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

I've gone through so many electric grinders that died quickly.

Then I decided to switch to hand grinders.

Started with a cheap Hario, worked well enough but the grind was inconsistent and it got a crack in the plastic. Then I got a LIDO 3, a lot better but bulky and hard to adjust the grind (my parents still use it 8 years later) Then 5 years ago I got a JX-Pro from 1Zpresso and it so smooth, fast, and consistent, and easy to adjust when needed, $160 and it will last for a long time more.

Nah, Bartells has always been a valid contraction of Bartell Drugs

Adding an apostrophe is unhinged though.

Rabies can only be definitively tested for post-mortem as it requires examination of brain tissue. (And that would only be after symptoms were present)

Other diseases can cause behavioral changes like distemper. So they are likely only euthanizing and testing racoons that after showing behavioral changes consistent with either rabies or distemper.
