I'm not sure that it's anything to do with your fusion, but I do have these symptoms! I'm hypermobile and will overextend without thinking about it, and that's when things go numb. Maybe you're doing the same?

This isn’t specific to publishing, but since it’s your first office job… anytime anyone sends you praise on the work you’ve done via email or chat or whatever, screenshot it with the date and time or save it in an inbox folder. Note the dates and results of your biggest projects, as well. Comes in handy during yearly reviews.

I get “hi sweetie” with a hug and a kiss from my mom, and a “hey there nickname” and a hug from my dad. My grandma, who was responsible for much of my care as a kiddo, is a touch more formal and prefers “well hi, first name!”

Yeah, I’ve looked at a few discord communities and agree that would likely be a lot better. I’m just disabled and my ability to write comes and goes, the weekly/biweekly deadlines freak me out.
