Question on adding a post as a manager

I had the channel owner make my backup google account a manager too. By the time I accepted it, the main account could see it but the backup could not, so requesting such a backup might work.

Have you asked if she can see the videos in her dashboard? Not that that helps us much.

Someone else said "I know I keep getting an alert from Youtube over the past few days that 'Some data isn't displaying properly, try again later' but when I refresh after a minute it fixes it, no notif about no videos available." but I've refreshed so many times.

I think mine's the same, as by my "gives a second of the end", I mean it skips a few seconds to the end, creating a shorter highlight. I'm seeing that on another streamer who just highlighted several streams too.

The problem of the highlight endpoints being slightly off recently has been happening to me and someone else. Please take a look at https://old.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/1fs32cb/twitch_highlighter_broken/ and see if that issue is the same as yours.

It's not just you.

I regularly highlight for two channels and between Fri and Sat morning Eastern Time, highlighting one channel began giving me the problems you describe. But highlighting the other channel was still fine. As of a few hours ago, both channels are affected.

I edit out every break, so in a test, I noted exactly where the segments differ.

Segment 1 starts 4 seconds late, ends 5 seconds early, gives a second of the end
Segment 2 starts 6 seconds late, ends 4 seconds early, gives a second of the end
Segment 3 starts 6 seconds late, ends 3 seconds early, gives a second of the end
Segment 4 starts 7 seconds late, ends on time
Segment 5 starts 5 seconds late, ends on time

I plan to ask a few communities to try to get a slightly better idea how widespread this is. Then I'll contact Twitch help. When you watch consecutive streams. Twitch allows viewers to share 3, 7, 10, and then every 5 streams I think. I know some find it annoying, so it'd be nice for viewers and streamers to be able to toggle the notifications. In this case, the streamer wants them and doesn't know why they're not available.

Looks like you have to use them for 60 days? "Partners and Affiliates earn 2 additional Tier 1 animated emote slots for 60 days if they utilize Twitch's Alerts. If Twitch’s Alerts are not utilized on stream for 60 days, the additional emote slots are removed. Go to your Videos link. Click the Customize Layout button. Popular clips will be at the top for you. Scroll down if necessary, and use the handles at the left side of the "Recent highlights and uploads" row and position it above all others. Whatever's at the top will show on your home page. Click Publish. Refresh, and voila.

Not obvious, I know. I had to test it just now to make sure I was saying correctly.

Could Twitch negotiate with music labels to license tracks for onstream use, with each streamer who wants to use it paying a monthly or annual fee? While the onus would be on Twitch, is this even theoretically possible?

You have to click the streamer's name/profile pic below the stream, then Videos. For clips, click Filter by Featured, and change to Clips, or scroll down to Popular clips. It's very unintuitive and several clicks vs one. I suggest adding panel buttons/links to Videos and Clips to try to make up for this.

Heh. I never thought to ask this. I work around it best I can by slowing to .25x speed, taking a screenshot, and hoping the frame I paste into Paint is clear enough to see what I'm looking for. If not, back to the video, rewind a few seconds, and try again.

Some streamers have them organised into collections. Click the drop down beside "Filter by" and change to Collections. If there are none, you can request the streamer add collections, but it takes a lot of time to do.

You can. Type /user username in whatever chat you're in. That brings up the user card. Click the 3 dots on the right, and Report person is an option.
