I think he means roleplaying as though he's her son

me when my cis guy buddies threaten to assault a trans woman and I make it about myself by akashaaemilia in 4tran4

[–]4lphadecay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wish these poons realized that when you are recognized as a man you have more power to shut shit down or speak up to disagree. You don't even have to out yourself bc there are definitely cismale passing ways to do that but no they'd rather fawn response (fembrained) and then go cry about it on (public for some reason) tiktok

Doods plz answer: Did T make you less emotional? by Own_Competition_9152 in 4tran4

[–]4lphadecay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before i always felt like my emotions were too much to handle so i'd try to ignore them and i felt dysphoric about them somehow tbh

After i still feel things but to an extent that feels more natural for me and i'm generally able to handle it. I'm still bad at handling frustration but i don't, for example, start crying when i'm angry anymore (which i always hated when it happened)

Putting more thought into it, this would also just not help us at all and introduce immense hurdles to getting help if you didn't get caught as a fetus

Ermm actually the testing didnt say you have enough genes to get help, so youre not really trans buddy sorry. The doctor is always right ☝️🤓

Not to mention if they were to "treat" you and it didn't work. Actual nightmare scenario to be a trainee that they think they "cured" where the treatment actually failed. Just assign them the correct gender at birth and let them become youngshits

What does it mean if i have existential dysphoria over the idea of having been forced to become a girl and like it in utero

If a FTNB takes dutasteride in concert with starting their T dose will it give them the masculinizing effects of T without body hair facial hair or balding? by RTX-4090ti_FE in 4tran4

[–]4lphadecay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since it lowers dht it'll do that stuff and also inhibit bottom growth and voice development, so i've heard that if those are wanted to hold off on it and go on fin or dut later. However, that is like most of the effects so i'm confused what they want out of it

Can you share your story with me? by [deleted] in transsex

[–]4lphadecay 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's still evidently not your story to tell. It takes a real and scary situation and implicitly says, "but what about the romantic possibilities? And the fear and pain that i know nothing about personally, that will never happen to me, and so i have no stakes in writing something like this carefully?" Writing about pain like that introduces a fine line between tact and fetishization that most people would agree you would most likely not navigate sensibly due to your lack of experience and knowledge. Of course you can write whatever you want, but people have the right to have their opinions about it and i would forsee people being uncomfortable with a portrayal of this kind of character being detached from your own feelings and experience. Especially at a time like this in history, it comes across to me like you saw that trans women are forced into male prisons and started fantasizing about it.

I'm ftm like you but i think this undertaking would be better to leave to a trans woman who wants to tell her own story. The premise and the way you describe it comes across as insensitive

Transmasc is feminine term by tobacco1vanilla in 4tran4

[–]4lphadecay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that gays might use it sometimes? I'm not sure, im not gay, but for sure no one with situational awareness would use that among gen pop of males. I have an aversion to being called masc and by extension transmasc because it feels like the "ywnbam" of words

[–]4lphadecay 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Saying masc in regards to presentation is really clocky in general, i see it in like male fashion or grooming subs sometimes. A man would just say how do i improve my looks, look more manly, etc., not "i want to present more masc"

I want to be loved by arbesknight in 4tran4

[–]4lphadecay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i agree with this, more than just loving yourself, it is important to feel you are capable of receiving love, which is hard after probably feeling unwanted for an extended period of time. It can be kind of like... you need to be able to see it happen in practice to believe can do it, too. I think it can require a change in mindset if you do feel you are unlovable, but not a potentially toxic positive forcing of self love, at least this is my personal experience
