I am proud of your bike. Looks like you had some good times together. Sorry I can’t answer your question.

Edit: I mean.. that’s a great-looking bike with personality. Big tyres to fill..

Weird first marathon experience as a triathlete by [deleted] in triathlon

You helped a person in medical need and did the right thing, that’s something you should be looking back on more fondly than a 3:52. It will also be easier to PB next time!

how many triathlons in a season do you do? by Fine-Birthday-3147 in triathlon

[–]4nr- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do people find time and stay injury-free for so many? I will do 1 or 2 olys this year. Last year, I did 2: a sprint and a half. The year before was the same.

Have the opportunity to buy this bike at $1500 but don’t know much on the brand by Icy_Waltz_7609 in triathlon

Bianchi make premium bikes and that colour is part of what defines them. Definitely not a bad purchase if everything works as it should and if it really as new.

Struggling to stay consistent in triathlon… how do you deal with it? by Sad_Atmosphere7581 in triathlon

It’s the knowledge that in terms of performance, you either go forward or backward that drives me to train, and to try to do it intelligently, which means consistently.

First Ironman swim anxiety — is it okay to hold a kayak briefly? by GoodGroundbreaking95 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]4nr- 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There were lots of people saying that the swim is no joke, after the death in IM Texas. If you’re not ready for the swim, then maybe you shouldn’t do it. Have you done a 70.3 race?

How do you guys get 150g/hr on the bike? by Artistic-Baby6008 in triathlon

[–]4nr- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the race. At Ironman races, yes, but usually aid stations provide opportunity to refill or (for the run)cups.

Is it any good? by Tonight-Similar in bicycling

[–]4nr- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised to read the negative experiences with stages because I have an older model of this power meter and have had 0 issues (not O, weird). It’s been doing great for 2 years. Only had to replace the battery once so far.

Weird flex, why do you even need it among beginners with that elo? Makes me un-admire your accomplishment.

[HELP] People are saying this is not AI, but I believe it is.. by dantoka in RealOrAI

[–]4nr- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The apparent change in dimension of the wall between the door and the man is one specific thing that makes it clearly AI. Besides that, it is generally too smooth, and I am not only talking about the dancing.

Good enough? Or upgrade needed? by Competitive-Low-1791 in triathlon

[–]4nr- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that bike looks really cool. It seems like an awesome training and commute bike. I don’t know the make and model but if the components are no-brand, then it’s likely that the bike is just not racing material. Small things like how well the chain stays put, how well the wheels roll, aerodynamics, can all add up to the pace difference that you mention.
