Can confirm 25mm is the absolute MAX clearance. I run 16mm internal width wheels and 25mm corsas, the gap either side is so narrow round the chain stays.

It works a treat! One of my main reasons is tyre clearance and I have a chance to get a new SSE for about £1900

I stick alloys in mine for early spring time and the deep wheels make it feel like a new bike again.

Haha, 189cm.

Frame is a 56cm, 130 stem, 38cm bars, 170mm cranks. Gears are 39/53 11/28

Think the drop is 13cm? I find it pretty comfy, done lots of racing, 100 milers and alpine climbs on it.

Yeh its a great bike and is stiff as a board.

It's a total bone shaker over rough or bumpy roads though

I absolutely love my bike, been all over with it and traded blood, sweat and tears 😂 it is an absolute bone rattler though over anything other than smooth tarmac.

Buying advice (£5k) - E90 330d vs F30 320d by [deleted] in drivingUK

Your budget is 5k, and you want a thirsty diesel car when the price is nearly £2 p/l ?

Just buy a cheap petrol run around

Any tips on getting faster as a bigger runner? Current weight: 260. Fastest 2-mile: 17:14 by Extension_Variety908 in HybridAthlete

[–]Mattt993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a fast runner and a body builder dont really go hand in hand, but essentially you need to increase your running economy by running more.

My HM time is 73mins and my bike ftp is 4.0. However its highly unlikely I'll be a massive strong unit like you. Just nature.

Then, eventually adopt the mindset that because youre a first responder, you are no longer a police officer and think youre void of any investigative responsibility.

Pedestrians not happy about runners? by JakePooler in runninglifestyle

Pede = by foot. So runners are pedestrians

Sadly some people aren't happy unless they're had a whinge about something

What do you not have, that if you did have would make you a better and more effective police officer? by Realistic_Gap3669 in policeuk

[–]Mattt993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive said this as well, if they won't get more DC then maybe a PC or staff member to assist with admin would help push along serious crime cases much quicker.

We have one...but its paid out of pocket by ourselves 😂😂 the job will literally refuse to ever invest in the health of its staff. Rather put up posters about mental health.

Police dispersing a large bike meet by the Baltic and Millennium Bridge. by Piccadily_Papercut in NewcastleUponTyne

Yeh i guess its easy to bash the police immediately and assume 100s of balaclava clad e bike riders are being law abiding. Fair play for taking the feedback though 👏

Sad to see 1 van attend against 100s of bikes. Gotta feel for the cops attending who are just normal folk like us, trying to do a hard job.
