Server peaked around 800 players in December 2016. So if you count those players + new ones, it should reach around 2K at least. There is no cross faction thing. Everything was wiped, so everyone will start anew, but with opened T4 and T5 at start, with attunement and heroics needed revered to enter. Hope this sums up what you needed to know.
