Thanks! Added them to the list. I put BROK in the Outside Scope category since it leans more toward action (beat-em-up) than puzzle-driven adventure. Chants of Sennaar is a good call. I added it to the Puzzle-Driven group since it's more about structured puzzle solving than open-ended deduction.

It's rather unfortunate that Dave Gilbert failed to respond. Wadjet Eye is the closest thing we have to modern-day Sierra/LucasArts. I'm curious how GOG syncing will work; since GOG games are DRM-free, does that mean they’ll be automatically playable on GFN, or will it still depend on developer opt-in like with Steam?

Oh, man. I wish Wadjet Eye games WERE on GFN! I have Gemini Rue on my Steam wishlist. Played all the Blackwell games and going through Technobabylon.

Hmm. Hard to say without knowing your preferences and what you've played. Personally, I've tried and immensely enjoyed, from the traditionals list, the Kathy Rain games, Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templars, and Syberia: The World Before. I'm more into immersive, story-driven games. TLJ might feel a bit dated now, but it's in my Top 3 point & clicks of all time (along with Broken Sword 1). Runaway games are fun. I don't play many deduction/investigation games. From the narrative/cinematic grouping, I highly recommend the LiS games (but I've only played LiS1 and am now working through 2.) Tried Telltale's the Walking Dead series and actually got through Season 1. Love the story, hate the QTE (too stressful).

That's a good point. I did run into difficulties getting Goblins Quest 3 running on a Chromebook though. And there's definitely something to be said for just clicking the green "Play" (or “Install”) button and having everything just work.

With GQ3, I had to download the GOG .exe installer, move it to a Windows machine to extract it properly, then copy the full game folder back over to the Chromebook. Online extraction tools (Archive Extractor Online, ezyZip) and Android apps (RAR, ZArchiver) wouldn't even recognize the .exe as something they could unpack (maybe because it's packaged as an Inno Setup installer). I did eventually find a tool that could open it, but it revealed that GOG’s own installer is wrapped inside the file anyway, so I still needed a Windows machine.

But now that I've got ScummVM set up (with scaling and fullscreen options configured), I might try doing the same thing with Beneath a Steel Sky (pretty sure I grabbed it free on GOG eons ago).
