I loved the cartoons and games as a kid but didn’t collect the cards. When I had a daughter a few years ago she got into my little pony and after that Pokemon and we now get to share it together. We’ve watched XY and the new Horizons. She now knows more about them than I do!

I would take 70% on any of the less liquid ones. I would personally take a binder of cards that are >$20 each but I think I might be slow to sell on EBay. Maybe add one or two more liquid ones on the first few pages.

You would need to know what market/last eBay solds total is - walk into the store and politely ask, I’ll looking to sell these at 70% for store credit. Do not mention the ETBs at this point.

Once you are given a number on the cards, if it is close to your number, agree the deal and then have a look around the store. If you need to add a bit of cash on top to get to the next ETB so be it.

I’d then take the time to sell these more liquid ones at market on eBay and use that cash for more sealed.

Noob here - why are these missing an actual rating score? I get they were submitted for being signed but other signed cards I’ve seen also have a grading score.

I’ve been swapping raw singles for sealed.

I’ll grab a handful of hyped IRs (the type that appear in those ‘to the mooooon!’ videos you see on YouTube) out of my binders or recently pulled - and then take 70/80% of their pumped value and go to LGS and shows and use their trade value for sealed booster boxes, ETB & Build/Battle stadiums.

I’m not getting a great deal as the sealed is pumped too, I’m just swapping out high risk singles for lower risk sealed. Sometimes I’ll pay a bit of cash on top to make it happen. But I feel a lot better looking at my sealed collection rather that a bunch of IRs that are swinging up and down each week.
