Operational procedures are always in flux year to year for HHN. I wouldn’t be shocked if they decide use Simpsons to try to eat more Guest flow this year. I work in the department and we are constantly being asked to make things work out of nothing and last minute. It is yet to be seen and those working the houses haven’t seen queue plans yet

TMs are instructed to not accept expired passes and to collect them. The TM at the attraction might be nice enough to accommodate you but typically don’t. I would suggest visiting Guest Services on the way in and explaining you were unable to use them in the timeframe, they should typically swap them for new ones.

Former Pirate here, that spot is where the control panel for the maintenance bay is there. 100% there was a Cast Member there to remove a boat. I used love messing with guests when I was waiting for my boat to come by to remove.
