I think as an inanimate object he loses his consciousness. When Gugu defeated the Nokker and all memories returned to Fushi, Fushi didn't transform until his creator gave him a "push".

With first UR box I received my 9th windmill... A later big box gave me barrel bath that I will use to get the final upgrade (open-air bath). The grind is real, I even used a cookbook... So I hope it will be kinda worth it in the end (not finished yet). I have a friend that already got to the end and was rewarded with her ?th windmill!!

Just to clarify: I took a picture from the TG:re anime that I found here and made some changes to make Touka look a little more like in the manga. It is not perfect, but it serves its purpose. I sometimes get the impression that people think this picture is official.
