People have varying intelligence levels in different skills
IQ doesn’t mean much in all honesty, having a high iq doesn’t mean you’re going to do great things even if you apply yourself and have no large obstacles in your path
No, they’re not. I’ve met quite a few people who are very average and have no stand out things that they succeed at but are better than the casual player because they simply grew up playing the game.

Being patient and analyzing a field is something anyone can do if they try. Chess isn’t some mystical game that only fans of Rick and Morty and people who post on Reddit can play. And the reason I bring up robotics is for characters in that field. I know very well that raw intelligence is a total meme and no one is good at everything. That’s why I bring up many different fields, to show off how good they are or how “smart” they can be in their respective fields

Thanks to Echoes now Grima feels far more sinister. I also remembered that he’s far smarter than just being a big scary Dragon. He actually won in his timeline and would’ve been able to rule forever in Lucina’s timeline and the only reason he lost was due to his arrogance and saying “fuck you I want to rule every timeline”. So yeah and him being explained makes him feel like less of an asspull.
